    Social Sailing

    Social Sailing on Sunday was very pleasant and relaxing. The conditions were ideal, with a gentle breeze and blue skies in abundance. The sailors were to take advantage of this and went out and round the fort, not once but twice!! The fleet were accompanied by Robin Lobb in Lady V, and by Grainne Andrews and Jan Webb in Lobbster.     Peacocks tail (Padina pavonica)

    From April to September at Colonels hard rock pools and along to the lifeboat station is a great place to see this attractive seaweed.     European champion BHYC Youth Sailor Arthur Farley

    ILCA 7 Final Results 2022 EurILCA U21 Europeans MASSIVE congratulations to Arthur for winning the Under 19 in the European championship 2022.     IW Youth and Junior Championship 2022

    Four regattas will take place from May to November 2022 across the Island hosted by Royal Victoria Yacht Club, Brading Haven Yacht Club, Gurnard Sailing Club,Yarmouth Sailing Club and Royal Solent Yacht Club under the IW Youth and Junior Championship Series.     Cadet RIB Ride & Burger Night

    30 Cadets enjoyed a fantastic evening on Friday 22nd April at the RIB Ride & Burger Night evening. Although the conditions on the Solent were challenging, a NE breeze with a slight to moderate swell. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed there ride down to Seaview and back, some did get a little wet (including the instructors), but nevertheless the smiles could be seen from Portsmouth.     BHYC Race Report Easter Series 1-2 Friday 15th April
